Practical tool for transferring patterns onto fabrics. Suitable for natural materials such as cottons and linen. Iron-On Transfer Pencil is used to transfer patterns also to paper or wood. Used to copy patterns from one place to another.
Can easily be transferred by ironing (2 to 3 uses of transfers are possible).
How to use
- Place the tracing paper on the design that you wish to transfer.
- Trace the design with Iron-On Transfer Pencil.
- Remove the tracing paper and place the traced design on top of the fabric and iron (without the steam).
- The copy of the design will appear on your fabric.
Please keep in mind the design will be copied in reverse.
Make a note that once it’s been transferred, the markings are permanent. The markings would be removed by washing at temperatures over 60ºC.
The tracing paper is ideal for a transfer process. For non-translucent papers (like common Low-Weight papers), use the backlight: Trace the original design on the window pane for instance.
